Blue Danube River Cruise

Ports of Call

Vienna, Austria - Vienna is a unique blend of the historic and the modern with a wealth of architecture and artistic and musical heritage. Many of the world's most important composers, including Beethoven and Mozart, have lived and performed behind Vienna's Baroque façades. In addition to this Baroque splendor, there are excellent examples of Art Nouveau architecture .

Esztergom, Hungary - Esztergom is a city in northern Hungary, 46 km north-west of the capital Budapest. It lies in Komárom-Esztergom county, on the right bank of the river Danube, which forms the border with Slovakia. The biggest church of Central Europe can be found in Esztergom. The building is 100m in height and boasts the world's largest altar piece. Organ and choir concerts attract many visitors inside the interior. Other attractions include Watertown with its two-towered church, the Kereszteny Museum and the imposing Town Hall. The views from Szent Tamas Hill are stunning and the Szechenyi Square and surrounding streets offer a quaint but elegant vista.

Mohacs, Hungary - Mohács is a city of 20,000 habitants in the southeastern part of Baranya County, on both sides of the river Danube. The settlement lies in the junction of the main roads number 56 and 57, and it is connected with the county town, Pécs by a railway station. Mohács attracts tourists – besides the historical memories due to the cultural programmes, the world famous “Busójárás” (a popular custom at the end of winter), the summer festivals, and the fest of the area’s wines.

Belgrade, Serbia - - meaning 'White City' - is the capital of the Republic of Serbia. Various styles of architecture dominate the city while its recent resurgence as the leading hub in south-eastern Europe makes it a must-see destination.
Bratislava, Slovakia - Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and the country's largest city. Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia on both banks of the Danube River. Bratislava has a very pleasant medieval inner city with narrow, winding streets, a hill-top castle next to the river Danube, and many historic churches and buildings to visit. The old town is centered on two squares, Hlavne namestie (main square) and Hviezdoslavovo namestie (Hviezdoslav square, named after a famous Slovak poet).

Iron Gates, Romania -  The Iron Gates of the Danube River originally consisted of four narrow gorges and three wide basins spread over several miles of the river dividing Romania and Serbia. The Danube enters the territory of Romania at the famous Iron Gates (Portile de Fier) and it ends its 670 mile journey through the country in the Black Sea. Before meeting the Black Sea, the Danube forms one of the most spectacular wetlands in the world, the Danube Delta - a unique 2,100-square-mile wildlife reserve - home to more than 300 species of birds and about 160 kinds of fish, both fresh and salt-water species.

Svishtov, Bulgaria - Svishtov is a town in northern Bulgaria, located in Veliko Tarnovo Province on the right bank of the Danube river opposite the Romanian town of Zimnicea. The city is protected by a small mountain, which defines the soft climate in the region all year round. Several mineral springs are situated in close vicinity to Svishtov.

Danube Delta - is the second largest rver delta  in Europe, after the Volga Delta , and is the best preserved on the continent

Fetesti, Romania - Fetesti is a Danube River cruise port and municipality located in Ialomita County, Romania.

Bucharest, Romania -  - is the capital and largest city of Romania, as well as its cultural, industrial, and financial centre. Economically, Bucharest is the most prosperous city in Romania[13] and is one of the main industrial centres and transportation hubs of Eastern Europe. The city has big convention facilities, educational institutes, cultural venues, traditional "shopping arcades", and recreational areas.
